ABOUT
THERAPEUTIC STYLE & VALUES
Jamie is a registered and experienced clinical psychologist who recognises the importance of creating a safe and non- judgemental space for individuals who come to therapy at a challenging time in their lives.
He understands the relationship between client and therapist is central to therapy and is dedicated to fostering a strong relationship.
Jamie focuses on building a deeper understanding of difficulties which may be interfering in people’s lives and how to intervene.
Jamie aims to work on promoting change through drawing on client’s strengths to help enhance well-being, to live a rich and meaningful life. He focuses on working with and treating the whole person rather than individual symptoms that they may experience.
EXPERIENCE
Jamie has worked across several public and private mental health settings, and specialises in working with young adults and adults across a broad range of mental health issues. He believes that as humans, we all experience pain and suffering at different points in our lives.
Jamie focuses on trying to help people become unstuck and connect with the things that are important in their lives. He aims to break down the stigma attached to speaking about your mental health acknowledging that mental health issues are something we are all touched by in some way.
